About

‘My ideas usually come not at my desk writing but in the midst of living.’ – Anais Nin

The majority of my social and student life is based around the cultural phenomenon that is the Coffeehouse. I consider it to be my home away from home, a place where I can think, work, play and enjoy the company of family and friends. And the rest of the world seems to think so too judging by how difficult it is to create a blog with the name ‘Coffeehouse’ in it. Thankfully ‘The Coffeehouse Blogger’ was my name of choice and readily available to me! *whooping with excitement*

I’ve been wanting to write a blog for a while now to jot down my ideas, thoughts, events, plans, and ‘South Asian’ girl dilemmas! I know these things have been written about a thousand times over by very amazing bloggers/writers, but I guess first and foremost the blog will give me a platform to put my musings, reveries, aspirations, anxieties and general ‘life things’ down into words.

Ps. I love the taste off cold sweet coffee beverages and flavored coffee drinks. Unfortunately, I am not a lover of hot coffee on its own. I do not need coffee to start my mornings, I usually favour tea over coffee any day! Does not being a crazy caffeine addict make me a Coffeehouse fraud?

  1. I prefer tea over coffee too, and I’m not a caffeine addict either – but I’m just obsessed with cafes and coffeehouses. So I say you’re not a fraud! Haha – great blog.
